West LA FamilySource Center
Community Care At Home is proud to lead a collaboration of
agencies through the West Los Angeles FamilySource Center
(WLAFSC). The WLAFSC is one of 21 FamilySource Centers
created by the City of Los Angeles to help low income City of
Los Angeles residents access services and resources to create a
better life for themselves and their families. The WLAFSC
also provides academic and social support for youth.
Community Care At Home and its partnering agencies are
committed to:

Moving participants from poverty to self-sufficiency

Providing an integrated citywide system of information and
referral connecting City residents in need with appropriate
existing human services

Promoting family self-sufficiency by
providing, at no charge, an array of services including:

Comprehensive case management

Multi-benefit screening

Pre-employment and employment support

Legal aid
-
Adult education
-
Youth advocacy services
-
Creating a system for the seamless
provision of services that promote individual and family
self-sufficiency.
The West LA FamilySource Center, operated by Community Care at
Home, brings together a network of agencies comprising:
Boys and Girls Club of Venice, JVS Los Angeles, Latino
Resource Organization, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles,
Mar Vista Family Center, St. Joseph Center, Venice Family
Clinic, Westside Center for Independent Living.
